FAQs
Why doesn’t your Headshot Session have a time limit?
Because this isn’t a race. When you book me for a headshot session you are booking me for the Looks, not the time. When I do a session I want to focus on getting the best from every look; That could take an hour, it could take three. What matters is setting everything up, finding the right backdrop and lighting, and finding the character in each look. We are going to put on some music, have fun, and find YOU, your essence, the thing that makes you stand out from the crowd and book. We are not in a rush as I only book 1 client a day, and I only shoot a maximum on 20 clients a month.
When can I see my Photos?
During your session your photos will be projected instantaneously to my laptop for review. We will review as we shoot and dial in every look. After the session we will sit down and you will have control to pick your favorites…and I will weigh in as well.
Are these just Headshots or do they work for other things?
I am a Portrait and Fashion Photographer. Sometimes while we are shooting we will also get great looks for editorials or Instagram. I shoot in a variety of sizes for that reason. Some of your session will result in amazing headshots, while some of it will be great for growing your instagram, or for press releases when you have films or a tv show coming out. Your management and Agent will LOVE this!
What happens after the session?
Within 24 hours of your session your photos will be available to review a second time via an online gallery. Also, I will include a touch up level photo set which consists of the same 5 photos at different degrees of touch up to make sure we don’t go to far with the touch ups or do to little. From there we confirm your selections and the completed touched up selections are delivered within 48 hours.
What should I wear?
Something that shows the world you are not just a face in the crowd. DO NOT wear a plain T-Shirt. “But my manager said…” I don’t care. Wear something that has texture to it. Wear something that you would wear on a casual first date. Wear something you would wear if you were going to have lunch with Christopher Nolan or Spielberg. If you are not sure you can always text me photos prior to our session and I will help you.
None of you looks on your site are “comedic”, do you do Comedic Looks?
Does a Bright Yellow or Blue background with a smile and fake glasses make you look funnier? I find YOU in my photographs. If you are comedic I promise it will come out, but lets not try too hard.
Can I wear a Police Uniform or Scrubs so casting knows I can play a Cop or Nurse?
No. We are in Hollywood here. Casting Directors have amazing imaginations. They can figure out if you work for that type of role without you shoving it in their faces.
