Headshot Contract

COVID-19

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all sessions will take place outdoors or Indoors, and with masks (except talent during the shoot of course). I am currently getting Covid Tested on a regular basis to ensure your safety and mine. I require that all Talent get tested for Covid 19 within 5 days of shooting. If you are unable to get tested prior to your session you must info me prior to your shoot and the session may be postponed at my discretion.

SESSION FEE

A non-refundable retainer of $100 is required for all Headshot sessions. In the event of cancellation, the retainer paid is non-refundable. It shall be liquidated for damages to the Photographer in the event of a cancellation, or breach of contract by the Client. Dates are temporarily reserved until a retainer is received. If retainer is not received within 5 days of session your appointment will be cancelled. The retainer shall be applied towards the total cost of the service to be rendered. The remaining Session Fee balance of $175 is due at the time of your photoshoot.
This fee covers the time and talent of photographer, retouching and creative editing of images, as determined by the photographer, and a gallery of images.

2 hour headshot session
10 retouched photos
online Google Drive gallery of all photos taken during session (not touched up)

Late Arrivals

You are booked for a 2 hour session. The clock begins at your scheduled session time. Outdoor Sessions are scheduled between 1pm - 5pm for best outdoor lighting (morning sessions available upon request). I cannot control Los Angeles traffic, and at the same time I cannot control the Sun. I will try to accommodate all 2 hours of your session if you are running late based on available light. Once the Sun sets their is nothing I can do. Again I will try to accommodate you if you run late, but once the sun sets that will conclude your session.

For in Studio Sessions outfit changes and backdrop switches do not count against your time. The 2 hours only counts during times of actual shooting. Studio Session can be scheduled between 10am - 8pm.

Rescheduling & Cancellation

Due to Covid-19 and other circumstances I do offer Rescheduling as long as it is 5 days before your Headshot session. I will also hold the right to reschedule for the same circumstances and hold to the 5 day advanced notice. People get sick, life gets complicated, auditions happen. I want to work with you to accomplish your session, I just need adequate time to move things around.

Cancellation completely without Rescheduling of your session will forfeit your $100 deposit.

Reshoots

Re-shoots are determined at the discretion of the photographer. Re-shoots will not be given for poor choices of clothing, make-up, hair, or by not following the recommendations of the photographer. Now both you and I cannot control the weather and if rain or heavy wind, or any other weather prevents us from completing our session we will schedule a re-shoot.

All Sales are Final

As much as I love taking these photos I do not have a need for your photos beyond promotional purposes on my website and Instagram. I am taking pictures of your face, which takes up 80% of the frame of that photograph, be kind to yourself and like your face.

Model Release

Client gives permission to Dante Yore / Pic 2 Kill to use the images (or variations of the images) from this session for publication in advertising materials, websites, blogs, portfolios, displays, or other promotional methods for Dante Yore / Pic 2 Kill without compensation for such. Dante Yore / Pic 2 Kill will not sell these images to any third party without additional consent from you.

Indemnification

Dante Yore / Pic 2 Kill shall be held harmless for any and all injury to You the Client during the course of the photography session and the immediately surrounding events. Dante Yore / Pic 2 Kill is not responsible for any injuries inflicted upon any participating parties. Client(s) will be responsible for their children and for themselves and release photographer from any claims against their person or their business.

Payment can be made in two different methods.
